The journey begins January 4, 2010. This five-day-a-week, 31-day journey will not only set the course for the year, but for the rest of your life. Beginning with a reading from ‘Solitary Refinement’ followed by reflection on the topic-of-the-day by viewing a YouTube video at: youtube.com/refinementvideos. After the reflection time everyone will come together and share in an interactive discussion forum at: solitary-refinement.com, where you can read Christopher Coleman’s personal thoughts and other readers postings. Finally, at the end of each week, Christopher will be answering the Top 5 Questions that you and other readers may have for him based on the daily discussions. Send in your questions and look for the answers on the Solitary Refinement Facebook fan page and his blog.

6.	The decision to get up from a fall transforms a bad start into an amazing finish.

7.	Your regrets are oftentimes your justification for not living a significant life.

8.	But, we need to be careful not to put faith in our stupidity.

9.	The mind makes the decision, marginalizes the result and minimizes the consequence.

10.	Where you are is the result of the changes you have made in your life. Where you are going is dependent on the changes you are willing to make.

1.	Your mind must be stimulated, not mutilated.

2.	We puff people up while sliding in a little truth, hoping they will take the bait. It’s a known fact that all bait leads to bondage.

3.	Affirmation does not come by pretending to be who you desire to be. It is your ability to be who you are that validates you.

4.	The wisest thing you can ever do is to understand your level of stupidity.

5.	Self-pity is the core – the foundation – of all addiction.
